Chester Farmers and Artisans Market

The Chester Farmers and Artisan Market celebrates the summer season with an opening celebration in May of each year.  The market operates on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday every week.  Hours will be 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM each market day.  Saturday market days will include special events sponsored by the City of Chester Parks and Recreation Department, and other local organizations focusing on health and wellness.

The market is located at 111 Columbia Street, directly behind City Hall.

Our Purpose

The Chester Farmers and Artisan Market (Chester Market) will connect local farmers and artisans with other community members to increase awareness and support for local agriculture and art.  Local produce and other agricultural products, which are healthy and safe as well as high quality crafts, are for sale at the market.
